Feds Sue Weight-Loss Pill Pushers
The Federal Trade Commission is suing certain business operations for violating federal law by making false claims.
The charges say that since 2005 the defendants have marketed their product throughout the country under the names Zyladez Plus, Questral AC and Rapid Weight Loss 245 and RX.
Their ad's include statements that say "lose up to 15 pounds in a week."
The FTC says these claims are unsubstantiated and false.
