Weight Loss Center Wants Food!?!
Sounds strange, but it`s true. A Minot weight loss center wants its clients and anyone else to bring them as much food as possible. Curves in Minot is participating in a nationwide food drive hoping to refill local food pantries. Last year Curves donated 11 million pounds of food in the United States and the goal this year is 18 million pounds.
"Right now the food pantries, they always get full during at Christmas time and then there`s a lull, but there`s still a need. They decided that March is the best time to do the food drive and it has been. They`ve been very appreciative," says Debbie Currie, Owner of Curves in Minot.
Curves will be collecting food during the whole month of March. New members will also get $30 off their fee if they bring in a food donation.
